Week Off Woohoo!

This winter I’ve done my best to battle the ‘winter blehs’ that I usually get around this time of year, and I’ve done pretty good!  I think I realized what it is that causes Feb to be such a rough month though!

Christmas is over and all the beautiful decorations are gone and summer is still too far away to be considered just around the corner.  It’s the limbo month and it’s so easy to get bored!

Spending two weeks of it sick didn’t help of course but now that March has arrived I’m hoping that things will start brightening up again.  The weather and the mood…

I was all geared up to go back to work this week, and all my shifts have been cancelled.  Our new project has been delayed and they have no work until next Monday.   Financially it will suck for me as I’ll have less play money but I can’t say I’m complaining at the idea of having another week off, especially one where I don’t feel like the walking dead!

Today I was watching the show Brothers & Sisters, that new show with the chick from Ally McBeal (who is still quite Ally McBealy in this show too) and she was in bed with Rob Lowe.  They had just woken up and were talking and kissing and being all new and in love.

That’s when I decided that I wished life was like a TV show because anytime my husband tries to get kissy with me in the morning I’m dodging him either because I’m paranoid about my morning breath or ready to die from his.

I think I have a real paranoia about bad breath because even when I’m watching people talking on TV I wonder if the actors and actresses ever suffer from each other’s breath or if there is mandatory pre-shoot mints.

  1. February must’ve hit everybody because I was sick for almost the entire month of it.

And I’m not one for morning breath either…

yoshi: I might if it was bad enough

  2. They probably have mandatory pre-shoot mints. Not everyone can smell fresh every minute of the day.

But more importantly, if you were doing a scene with someone really famous and highly respected…would you stop them and say, “Sorry, you’ll have to take a breath mint first.”
