Molting

Molting!I’m MOLTING! Yeah, pretty gross pic, huh? Gross to you I mean, it’s me doing it so I’m not really fussed. Am I the only one who can’t stop from peeling myself after a sunburn? I guess it’s probably one of those things like popping zits or sticking your fingers in places and then sniffing them. You know, things most people do but rarely ever talk about. Well I’m going to talk about it. Today after I got out of the shower I felt my chest itching, I was still sort of wet so I just ran my hand over it. I felt this sort of popping feeling which turned out to be these little water bubbles that formed under the skin. Then << Heavenly Music >> I saw it, all that skin waiting for me. I just can’t help it! It’s like some kind of twisted game, like if I pull just the right way, just hard enough and slow enough maybe I can get a nice big piece. Don’t lie, I know you all do it! At least that’s what I’m going to tell myself to rationalize and convince myself I’m not a TOTAL weirdo.

Today I did more biking than I have yet. We left the house at about 10:15 am or so to go to the Halford’s Superstore on Stadionweg. Neither of us knew exactly where it was and boy was I tired by the time we got there. We went to buy some saddle bags for the back of my bike to carry groceries and stuff in. So we got it and turned around to come home, there were also more hills on this ride than other ones so I really felt the burning in my legs (and my lungs) while I peddled my way up. We went home and I sat outside drinking water and fanning myself while Xander put my saddlebags on. Then we hopped on our bikes again and went to the supermarket. Before we left I decided to take a pic of the bike all loaded up.

You can’t really see how much is in it since the saddlebags are closed, but there’s quite a bit in there! While I had the camera out I decided to take a pic of “The Supermarket Guy”. I’m not sure if he’s homeless or just likes hanging out there but he’s always there when we go for groceries. He smiles and says hello and basically just stands around chatting with people who stop for a gab. He helps the older ladies as well. He’s so friendly and cheery, I just had to get his pic, and he seemed more than happy to let me take it! Anyway, we were gone for about 4.5 hours or something all together. There was a LOT of biking in there.. whew!

I realized something funny today when I was chatting with Xander while he was messing with my bike. I was thinking about a house around the corner that was being sold and was trying to explain which one to Xander. My explaination was “The 2nd door down, I think it’s where Happy lives”. You see, Happy is a dog. One of those little weiner dogs that is about the same age as Bailey. We met him when we had Bailey outside playing in the grass behind our building. So I got to thinking that we have absolutely no idea who Happy’s owners are. While we were sat there this blond girl who lives in our building came along with her dog, Rocky. We chatted a while and after she left, again.. I realized that I had no idea what her name was other than “The one who owns Rocky”.

Wtf, our dog has a better social life than us!!
