Wee bit too much time in the sun today, I think. We got the chairs for our balcony and have it all finished out there finally, it was just so nice to sit out there that I didn’t even realize how much time had gone by. Oops!
Oh well, beats still being white!
I can never really escape the first burn of summer. Even if I use sunscreen I still manage to burn. It’s like the season’s right of passage or something.
My father is pale and burns like hell, my mother always turns a beautiful shade of brown. Dad totally had the dominant genes there, bleh.

I much perfer being pale (not that I have a choice with my genes) sunburns are all kinds of painful. I feel for you :(
I am with you on the varying shades of white and red. I NEVER tan. *grump*
