An entire website dedicated to people doing a 365 project. It has made a massive difference in the project for me. While there are groups on Flickr for this purpose, most people tend to just upload their photos and not really interact. Plus, it’s such a huge site with so many people, that it’s easy to get lost in the crowd.

365project.org is different… it’s smaller and it’s just for people doing the project. Everyone has their own way of doing it, some are doing self potraits, others are doing family photos, and most are doing random photos from their day. It has been a great motivator and inspiration to see what other people are doing, looking at their photos and reading their comments on mine. It’s pushed me to use my imagination more and try new things and it has been really fun.

My favorite from this week is definitely the teacup photo, which was also the most popular amongst my friends. It was a lot of fun to make and the result turned out really cool. I have a few idea for photos I want to do like this… I just need to sit down and make them happen! I also really like the one with my hands in front of my face, that was a nice experiment!

Day 50 – Next week’s book club book arrived! This one doesn’t exist in ereader format so I bought the paperback. After a long time reading books on an ereader it’s weird to feel and smell a real book again! Not a book I would have chosen for myself but that’s the beauty of book clubs, it forces us to broaden our horizons!

Now, let’s see what Queen Noor has to say!

Day 51 – AWKWARD!

Photo 1: *Thinking to myself…* is the light blinking?
