{"id":9043,"date":"2011-09-15T14:51:13","date_gmt":"2011-09-15T12:51:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gettingirlie.com\/?p=640"},"modified":"2014-02-14T21:53:36","modified_gmt":"2014-02-14T20:53:36","slug":"pastel-pink-reverse-french","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/9043","title":{"rendered":"Pastel Pink Reverse French"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since I started messing around with my nails I\u2019ve seen a lot of people doing the reverse french method, which is basically putting a semi circle at the base of the nail rather than putting the color across the tip.&nbsp; There are a number of methods for doing this, the most popular using paper hole stickers like in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecherryblossomgirl.com\/nails-tutorial\/12559\/\" target=\"_blank\">this tutorial from Cherry Blossoms Girl<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately I <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">couldn\u2019t get <\/span>couldn\u2019t be arsed to look for those, so I used what I had on hand, which was these:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/french.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"img_fbfcb20c-a4ff-47eb-8b43-975f8e2263dc\" title=\"french\" style=\"display: inline\" alt=\"french\" src=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/french_thumb.png\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/reversefrench2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"reversefrench2\" style=\"display: inline\" alt=\"reversefrench2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/reversefrench2_thumb.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"503\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p> Essence French Manicure Tip Guides, Konad <em>Pastel Pink<\/em> and Essence 50\u2019s Girls Reloaded <em>AHOY!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.essence.eu\" target=\"_blank\">Essence<\/a> french tip guides don\u2019t have quite the same curve as the paper hole stickers so you don\u2019t get that semi circle effect that you would with them, but they are curved enough so that it doesn\u2019t look stupid like just a straight line.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/reversefrench.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"reversefrench\" style=\"display: inline\" alt=\"reversefrench\" src=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/reversefrench_thumb.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"638\"><\/a> <br \/>Well, ok maybe a bit of a straight line, but the concept is still the same. I had really only meant to paint the pink because I wanted to test it out.&nbsp; I got it as a freebie with an order from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enchantra.eu\" target=\"_blank\">Enchantra<\/a> and wanted to see what it looked like.&nbsp; It was also a nice calm looking change after that seriously busy Gumball mani.<\/p>\n<p>When I had the pink on there the thought struck me to give this a go, just to see what it would look like.
