One problem I\u2019ve been having since I started my little nail habit, is somewhere to store the polish and all the accessories.\u00a0 Up until a little while ago, this is what it looked like in my living room.

\nIn our small two bedroom flat, with my husband using the spare room for his Lego Habit<\/a>, I didn\u2019t really have any space.\u00a0 This is my little \u2018hub\u2019 in the house, it\u2019s where I craft (see the knitting basket on the table on the right), it\u2019s my computer desk (see my beautiful monster laptop on the Ikea Dave table in front of my chair) and my nail station (see black Ikea Dave table with my nail stuff on the left).\u00a0 Everything I needed within arms reach!
\nAlso pretty darn messy!
\nOnce the Kruidvat<\/a> sale hit (50% off omg!) my poor little cardboard box could no longer contain my bottles and it was just looking completely out of control.\u00a0 I had heard of a lot of people using the Helmer<\/a> cabinet from Ikea but money was a bit tight and it wasn\u2019t a need<\/em> at that time as much as a want<\/em>.\u00a0 So I started looking around the house trying to find a place that could be changed around to be some storage for my nailpolish.\u00a0 That\u2019s when it hit me!\u00a0 It had been under my nose the whole time! My Ikea Expedit bookcase!

\nAges ago I had bought the little cupboard and drawers that could be placed in the squares and had been using the drawers as a place to store some cleaning items and pet stuff.
\n\"expedit2\"<\/a>
\nI thought the drawers may be perfect for what I need so I got busy emptying one of the drawers to give it a test.
\n\"expedit\"<\/a>
\nIt was perfect! One drawer can currently hold my entire collection pretty comfortably, and I still have a second drawer as backup!\u00a0 So my storage situation is sorted at the moment.
\n\"expedit2\"<\/a>
\nI still think the Helmer is probably the better option financially seeing as one set of these drawers is \u20ac25 and the entire Helmer cabinet is \u20ac29,99, but for me it\u2019s about space.\u00a0 We already have the Expedit bookcase and if these two drawers ever start overflowing then I can buy another set without taking up any more floor space than I already am.
\nHeck, I could buy 15 more of these sets of drawers before the bookcase is full!\u00a0 Ok ok, that\u2019s going to give my husband a heart attack, I think it\u2019d be a long time before I\u2019d ever have that much polish, probably never\u2026 but at least if I do it will be out of sight and not taking up space that I don\u2019t have to spare!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
