{"id":8996,"date":"2011-05-10T07:06:00","date_gmt":"2011-05-10T05:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gettingirlie.com\/?p=33"},"modified":"2013-01-14T06:37:44","modified_gmt":"2013-01-14T05:37:44","slug":"im-sorry-essence-can-we-be-friends-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/8996","title":{"rendered":"I&rsquo;m Sorry Essence, Can We Be Friends Again?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stop the world, I wanna get off!!\u00a0 I am so incredibly confused right now.<br \/>\nRemember my rant about <a href=\"http:\/\/gettingirlie.blogspot.com\/2011\/05\/stamping-frustrationhelp.html\" target=\"_blank\">stamping not working<\/a>?<br \/>\nThen how I <a href=\"http:\/\/gettingirlie.blogspot.com\/2011\/05\/my-nails-are-36-years-old.html\" target=\"_blank\">got a Konad set for my birthday<\/a>?<br \/>\n\u2026 and how excited I got when <a href=\"http:\/\/gettingirlie.blogspot.com\/2011\/05\/i-can-stamp-i-can-stamp.html\" target=\"_blank\">the Konad stamping worked<\/a>?<br \/>\nWell today I saw <a href=\"http:\/\/miranniesnails.blogspot.com\/2011\/05\/nfu-oh-67-with-stamping.html\" target=\"_blank\">this post<\/a> over at Mirannie\u2019s Nails and once again I was wondering why other people seem to get the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.essence.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Essence<\/a> set to work and I don\u2019t.\u00a0 So I was on a mission.\u00a0 I was going to try every combination of Essence \/ Konad paint, plates and stamps until I narrowed down the culprit.\u00a0 I wanted to know what exactly was making it not work for me!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/oopsessence.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-width: 0px; border-style: none; border-color: -moz-use-text-color; background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px;\" title=\"oopsessence\" alt=\"oopsessence\" src=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/oopsessence_thumb.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Above: Essence plate with Konad paint and stamp.<\/em><br \/>\nI tried the Konad paint and stamp with the Essence plate \u2013 IT WORKED!<br \/>\nI tried the Essence paint and Plate with the Konad stamp \u2013 IT WORKED!<br \/>\nI tried the Essence paint and stamp with the ESSENCE plate \u2013 WTF IS GOING ON?! ALL Essence and it worked!! *Bewildered*<\/em><br \/>\nI think the world is playing an evil trick on me. How can this be?!\u00a0 I spent weeks, no that is not an exaggeration, literally WEEKS and multiple bottles of polish trying to get the Essence set to work with the most meager of results.\u00a0 Before I couldn\u2019t even get the stamp to pick up the paint!<br \/>\nTHEN I get the Konad set and it works so I\u2019m convinced, ok that\u2019s it\u2026 the Essence Stampy Set just sucks balls.<br \/>\nTHEN I try the Essence set again, just for shits and giggles, and it works?!!<br \/>\n*Smacks forehead against table repeatedly*<br \/>\nI just do not get it\u2026<br \/>\nI\u2019m not complaining, I just don\u2019t get it.\u00a0 I\u2019m happy that I may be able to use some of the Essence designs now but I DO NOT GET IT! hahaha<br \/>\nOh Essence, I\u2019m so sorry!
