Today is my birthday and boy oh boy do my peeps know what I like!\u00a0 Especially my husband!\u00a0 He really threw me for a loop today as he got me the absolute best present I could have ever asked for.\u00a0 Not only is it something I love, but it\u2019s not something I\u2019d hinted at or even put on a list\u2026 just something that he heard me talking about, made a point of remember and got for me!
\nHere, I\u2019ll give you a hint!

\nWhen I unwrapped it I \u2026 well I was silent for a few seconds because I was in shock.\u00a0 Then I squealed!!\u00a0 I can\u2019t believe he remembered this!\u00a0 I have the best husband ever.\u00a0 I know I\u2019ve said that before, but I\u2019ll say it another million times before our time together is through.

\nMy parents sent me a box from Canada, which had some beautiful jewelry, a new watch, and a few other things, including these bottles:

\n(L-R) Avon SpeedDry+ Mink Vison (why do I feel like this should be vision? It says vison on both the bottle and box though!), Avon SpeedDry+ Red Wine, Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Hot Magenta, Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Purple Potion, Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Merlot.
\nI\u2019m so chuffed that she sent me some reds because the only one I had was from 2True<\/a> which I\u2019m really not a big fan of.\u00a0 I also didn\u2019t have any browns so that makes for a nice change!\u00a0 Oh, and a girl can never have enough purple and pink!
\nThey also got me this, which I totally forgot to get a photo of so I swiped one from the internet.
\nA white Sally Hansen nail art pen!\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to try that out either!\u00a0 Although if I like it my mother will wish she hadn\u2019t gotten it for me because I\u2019ll be bugging her to send me one in every color!\u00a0 They are lightweight though so shipping shouldn\u2019t be too terrible.
\nOh, but that\u2019s not all!\u00a0 I also got polish from my BFF who brought it all the way back from California, where she spent three weeks last month on holiday!\u00a0 If you are an expat and have ever travel overseas you know how precious luggage space is coming home.\u00a0 So you will understand how grateful I am for her bringing them home for me!

\nSWWEEEEEEET!\u00a0 These are all brands I\u2019ve seen on people\u2019s blogs but have never seen in the shops here.\u00a0 I have seen (and lusted after) the Seche Vite products on a website here in NL so I was super chuffed when I opened the package and saw that in there!
\nOh wait, but that\u2019s not all! There was also another polish surprise!

\nMy new friend Kati (she has no blog to link to, boo hoo!) sent me this bottle of Wetn<\/em>Wild Wild Card.\u00a0 We had just met a few weeks ago but we both have been bitten by the polish bug.\u00a0 Her a lot sooner than me so she has a much larger collection.\u00a0 When she heard it was my birthday this weekend she asked for my address to send a card, and then the sneaky sneaker sent a bottle of polish along too!\u00a0 What a pretty one as well, I think I\u2019m going to like this polish! Wasn\u2019t that sweet of her?!
\nSo my day was fantastic, I got some lovely gifts (which included all these bottles of polish!), hubby and I spent 1.5 hours at the dog park with the dogs this morning, went out to do a bit of shopping, spent some time in the sun, got a bunch of phone calls from family members and he made the most beautiful dinner.\u00a0 Now it\u2019s almost time for bed and it\u2019s hard to believe that another birthday has pretty much come and gone.\u00a0 My parents weren\u2019t kidding when they said the older you get the faster the time goes!
\nNow, I have a dilemma!\u00a0 My nails have been naked all day because I\u2019m so overjoyed and overwhelmed with all this new polish that I can\u2019t decide which I\u2019m going to use first!\u00a0 I think this is what my husband calls a \u2018luxury problem\u2019!!!
