The minute I saw the photo hunt this week I knew what I would use…<\/p>\n

\"Prostitution<\/a><\/p>\n

I took this photo in the Red Light District<\/a> in Amsterdam when I moved to the Netherlands back in 1999.\u00a0\u00a0 As if it wasn’t shock enough being there, I was even more shocked when I saw this sign.<\/p>\n

I’m still not sure if it was a place where people go to find out where the good whores are, or if it’s a place where the girls go themselves if they need info on something (like what genital herpes looks like).\u00a0\u00a0 Either way, I was surprised when I saw the sign and had to snap a photo.<\/p>\n

Coming from a place where prostitution is totally illegal and having probably only ever seen 1-2 prostitutes in my life, the entire experience was bizarre.<\/p>\n

Amazing how it’s so not a big deal now, like ‘oh yeah, the Red Light District… whatever.. *Yawn*’.<\/p>\n
