I was listening to Howard Stern today at work, I know… how cool is that, that I can listen to his show (downloaded mp3) while doing my work… oops, off track…<\/p>\n
One of the things they were discussing was Heath Ledger’s death.\u00a0\u00a0 Right, it’s sad as hell but I’m already tired of hearing about it.\u00a0 So much speculation, so many rumors, so many body bag photos.\u00a0\u00a0 Ugh.\u00a0 The man is dead, show a little respect people!<\/p>\n
Anyhow, as I was listening to the show they were discussing this religious group.\u00a0\u00a0 I’m not going to link to their website or mention them by name because I honestly don’t want to be associated, nor do I want to give them even my measly amount of traffic.<\/p>\n
In any case, these fucking nutcases are already advertising their plans to picket Heath Ledger’s memorial.\u00a0\u00a0 He kissed a man in a movie, so clearly he’s going to hell and they are going to be there in all their freakish, inbred glory to let everyone know.<\/p>\n
I saw a documentary about this group once on Discovery Channel and both Xander and I sat there completely slackjawed.\u00a0\u00a0 The things they were saying, the ideas they are hammering into their children’s heads… there are so many things wrong with them on so many different levels, I wouldn’t know where to start.<\/p>\n
… and now Heath Ledger is their new target.\u00a0 Lovely.<\/p>\n
Where are the suicide bombers when you need them?\u00a0\u00a0 Isn’t there some wacky Hollywood faction that could see this as a worthy cause?<\/p>\n
