Bad idea… <\/p>\n

I took it out at 11am this morning and at 6pm I started getting scared and tried to put it back in.<\/p>\n

It wouldn’t go in.<\/p>\n

BUGGER!!  What have I done?  I couldn’t believe that after only a few hours my piercing had started to grow over already!   I figured it was probably a bad idea, but like most bad ideas I have, I did it anyway.   I’m such a moron.<\/p>\n

I did end up getting it back in, but not without a little whimpering and eye watering.   It’s tender now but it’s back in place.  Now I know that taking this piercing out for a day just won’t work.  If the situation ever arises that I have to not wear it somewhere, I’ll either have to let it grow over and forget about it (nooo!) or get a clear retainer piercing.   I don’t quite get the retainer piercings to be honest, it’s not like you can’t still see them!<\/p>\n

I never did try to put my tongue piercing<\/a> back through because I knew I’d be too tempted to keep it if I could get it back in again.   Now I know that if I ever remove the lip piercing, putting it back in won’t be an option, at least not after more than about 6 hours.  Interesting…<\/p>\n
