\nNumber 16 on my 101 List<\/a> was to join a book club.\u00a0 It\u2019s something I\u2019ve wanted to do for quite a while but never really bothered to look into.\u00a0 So when some friends of started one, I was all over it!<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not actually in the above photo, as I had forgotten my tripod and was busy taking the photo myself, but you can see the friends that are currently in the club with me.\u00a0 A great group of ladies who are a lot of fun to sit around gabbing with.\u00a0 We do chat about the books quite a lot but of course the conversations often move on to other subjects as well.<\/p>\n

The first month I hated the book (Middlesex<\/a>) but this month I absolutely LOVED the book we read.\u00a0 It was called The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society<\/a> and I plowed through it in no time.\u00a0 Next month we are reading The Memory Keeper’s Daughter<\/a>, a book I\u2019ve been meaning to read for a while now. \u00a0In December we are reading The Help<\/a> so that we all get through it before it comes out in the cinema in January. \u00a0I’m really looking forward to that one.<\/p>\n
