The tiles started going up last week but it’s slow going as the guy we are paying to do it is only available on weeknights or weekends so it’s mostly Saturdays that the work is getting done.  The grouting hasn’t been done yet but it’s still nice to have the tiles on the wall.<\/p>\n

Today he is working on making the enclosure around the radiator (which looks a bit manky at the moment, I’m glad we’re closing it in) and then hopefully working a bit more on the tiling.<\/p>\n

We’re not in any hurry though… as long as it gets finished eventually.   It’s weird though, when you are working on one room it seems to affect all the other rooms in the house, I don’t know how that happens.   It’s like you gotta put the materials and boxes somewhere and it ends up all over the rest of the flat.  I’m looking forward to -that- being over.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
