{"id":665,"date":"2007-06-10T10:36:14","date_gmt":"2007-06-10T08:36:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/archives\/665"},"modified":"2007-06-10T10:37:10","modified_gmt":"2007-06-10T08:37:10","slug":"more-kitchen-progress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/665","title":{"rendered":"More Kitchen Progress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The tiles started going up last week but it&#8217;s slow going as the guy we are paying to do it is only available on weeknights or weekends so it&#8217;s mostly Saturdays that the work is getting done.&nbsp; The grouting hasn&#8217;t been done yet but it&#8217;s still nice to have the tiles on the wall.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/breigh\/527871631\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"355\" alt=\"tiles2\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1054\/527871631_c5bad09e40.jpg\" width=\"480\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today he is working on making the enclosure around the radiator (which looks a bit manky at the moment, I&#8217;m glad we&#8217;re closing it in) and then hopefully working a bit more on the tiling.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not in any hurry though&#8230; as long as it gets finished eventually.&nbsp;&nbsp; It&#8217;s weird though, when you are working on one room it seems to affect all the other rooms in the house, I don&#8217;t know how that happens.&nbsp;&nbsp; It&#8217;s like you gotta put the materials and boxes somewhere and it ends up all over the rest of the flat.&nbsp; I&#8217;m looking forward to -that- being over.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The tiles started going up last week but it&#8217;s slow going as the guy we are paying to do it is only available on weeknights or weekends so it&#8217;s mostly Saturdays that the work is getting done.&nbsp; The grouting hasn&#8217;t been done yet but it&#8217;s still nice to have the tiles on the wall.
