Ok, I’ve never said that particular part of l33t speak before in my life but it suited this post really well.\u00a0\u00a0 Yesterday Xander and I went to our friends Penny and Yuri for a BBQ, and what a great time we had!<\/p>\n

\"Xander,<\/a>\"BBQ!\"<\/a> \"Yuri<\/a><\/p>\n

Penny manned the BBQ, Xander kept the conversation going, Yuri took care of the wine and I took the pictures.<\/p>\n

It was a beautiful day and perfect for our first BBQ together of the season.\u00a0 The first of many I’m sure (or I hope!)<\/p>\n

No work, great company and fantastic weather, what more could we ask for?<\/p>\n

Penny and I had been hoping that our hubbies would get along because to be honest, we plan on throwing them together a lot this summer.\u00a0 Thankfully they are getting on like a house on fire so we don’t have to worry about that anymore.\u00a0 I’m sure any married \/ in a relationship\u00a0guys who are reading this know how it goes.\u00a0 The women become friends and then always stick the guys together.\u00a0\u00a0 Not the best scenario if you have nothing in common!<\/p>\n

\"Bailey<\/a>Bailey had an awesome time too.\u00a0 It was the first time Penny and Yuri met him and like everyone does, they fell in love with him!<\/p>\n

This is a good thing, because they are going to get plenty of time with him!\u00a0\u00a0 They have kindly offered to watch Bailey for the three weeks we are in Canada in October!!<\/p>\n

He loved them as well and put them through the usual tests… fetch, pretend to drop food so I can eat it, rub my belly when I roll over and give you the sign and let me lick between your toes.\u00a0\u00a0 They passed!<\/p>\n

I love spring, I love the sun, I love my friends!\u00a0 I love this feeling of coming alive again that takes over me when the weather brightens up after the long dreary Dutch winters.\u00a0 I just want to hold my arms out, put my face up to the sun and go “AAAAAHHHHH!!”.<\/p>\n

This is going to be a great summer!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
