Over the last week I’ve been trying to forget my work woes by diving into one of my favorite pastimes – watching movies! Not that I don’t do this all the time anyway but I’ve been doing it even more lately.<\/p>\n
Last Saturday I went into town with friends Penny and Lynda to grab some lunch and see a movie. We saw Music and Lyrics with Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant. Here’s a review:<\/p>\n

On Thursday evening Xander and I decided to catch a movie on the spur of the moment. He’s been itching to see Hannibal Rising and I was curious to see it too, so we went. It’s been a long time since we went out to a film with just the two of us, we usually go with friends. I liked it, it was nice. Here’s a review: <\/p>\n

This past Saturday I went into town again and met up with a friend from work, Wendy. We did a bit of shopping in the ‘Little Blue Store’, which is what we all call a store with a blue front near the theater that sells British and American goodies for insane prices. Lord help me, I bought a box of chocolate covered Oreo cookies and nearly ate myself sick on them during the movie. They were sooooo good though! There goes the diet!<\/p>\n

Having the Unlimited Pathe card (17 euros\/month for unlimited movies at Pathe theaters) is great for times like this.
