<\/a>This is how we started ringing the New Year this year.  Looking through a rainy window wondering if we want to go outside or not.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t freezing cold like the last few years, it was actually surprisingly warm (about 11 degrees Celsius), but it looked generally nasty outside.<\/p>\n

I was so disappointed… the fireworks is one of the things I look forward to most during the holidays and I wasn’t sure it was going to happen.  <\/p>\n

I seriously underestimated the Dutch though.  Like a little rain was going to stop them!  I love how much the Nederlanders LOVE their fireworks!<\/p>\n

Even with the rain I was able to get a few decent photos from our balcony. <\/p>\n
