Man, taking the photos for the 365 project is not too bad but remembering to blog them every day is.\u00a0 I think it\u2019s because I\u2019ve often been forgetting to take the photos until the evening and then I end up too tired to bother blogging.\u00a0 I\u2019m gonna catch up now and see how it goes. I dare say this won\u2019t be the last catching up post though. I\u2019ll probably forget loads.<\/p>\n

\"Project<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a>Day 6 \u2013 Til\u2019 Next Year Frosty
\n<\/strong>I was saying goodbye to my Christmas decorations which have been up far too long.\u00a0 Ok, they are still up, I admit it\u2026 but I\u2019ve stopped turning the lights on. Baby steps!\u00a0 Today is the day, I can feel it! No really, I swear!<\/p>\n

\"Project<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a>Day 7 \u2013 Rainbow
\n<\/strong>This was the day the yarn arrived for my next knitting project.\u00a0 I love the bright colors, they make me happy.\u00a0 With all the dreary weather lately it\u2019s brought a bit of sunshine into my day.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t it pretty? One day I will show what I made with it but for now it\u2019s going to have to remain top secret! I\u2019ve already given away too much!<\/p>\n

<\/a>Day 8 \u2013 I Love My Harmony One!
\n<\/strong>My husband and I used the Santa money my parents sent to us to buy a universal remote, the Logitech Harmony One<\/a>.\u00a0 We were so tired of having to use three different remotes just to watch TV, and plus, we just love this kind of geeky shit.\u00a0 I spent hours programming it and I\u2019ve still not got it all right but I\u2019ll spend some more time with it soon and get it all just the way I want it.\u00a0 My DVD player is being a little bitchy and doesn\u2019t want to turn on and off the way it should. Pesky thing\u2026<\/p>\n

<\/a>Day 9 \u2013 Bailey\u2019s Bath
\n<\/strong>I took this photo of Bailey after his bath. He\u2019d gotten sick during the night in his crate and the smell clung to him, it was disgusting. A bath was in order and he was none too pleased about it.\u00a0 Once he was out he went on with his usual post bath ritual of running around like a maniac and rubbing himself on every surface in the house.\u00a0 As you can tell by the photo, a haircut is also in order!<\/p>\n

<\/a>Day 10 \u2013 FU Scale!
\n<\/strong>You know how a photo speaks a thousand words? Well, I have a thousand swear words for my scale at the moment.\u00a0 I still have not shaken that last kilo I gained over Christmas and it\u2019s ticking me off.\u00a0 In the last month I\u2019ve not gone down at all, and yeah it\u2019s only one kilo I\u2019m up, it could be much worse, but still\u2026 it\u2019s not where I wanted to be right now.\u00a0 It\u2019s also irritating me that I broke a diet that was working so well for me and I am having trouble getting back to my usual routine.\u00a0 Most people would think it\u2019s extreme, and that fretting over one measly spoonful of jam in a day is ridiculous, but I hate that I am in that \u201coh one won\u2019t hurt\u201d state of mind.\u00a0 I am going to have to do the detox part of the diet again to get the sugar out of my system, and I will know better next time when I think it wouldn\u2019t hurt to go off track just for a little while. It\u2019s really not worth it.\u00a0 The happiness I get out of seeing the weight come off is far far more pleasure than any piece of cake, cookie or spoonful of jam will ever give me. That\u2019s what I need to remember.<\/p>\n

\"Project<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a>Day 11 \u2013 Battered Keyboard
\n<\/strong>I type a lot, me and my laptop are joined a the hip, so to speak.\u00a0 I am a touch typer and I can type like the wind, probably faster than anyone I know.\u00a0 I\u2019m also long winded and wordy and I like to chat, so there\u2019s been a lot of typing on this keyboard.\u00a0 The evidence is showing because I\u2019m starting to wear the keys down.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure the keyboard will last through the lifetime of the laptop itself, so it would probably be a good idea to start looking around the internet for a replacement, before they don\u2019t exist anymore.\u00a0 This has happened to every keyboard I\u2019ve ever had, so it\u2019s no surprise.\u00a0 The N is always the worst for some reason\u2026 I suppose I use a lot of N words like uhhh, \u00a0Nigeria and\u00a0Neapolitan\u00a0and\u00a0necrophilia\u00a0and \u00a0Nostradamus\u00a0and narcolepsy and nanocephalous and necessarianism… you know, just the usual N words that come up in everyday conversation. \u00a0I must try to keep them to a minimum in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
