{"id":5877,"date":"2011-01-10T07:22:13","date_gmt":"2011-01-10T05:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/?p=5877"},"modified":"2011-01-10T07:33:03","modified_gmt":"2011-01-10T05:33:03","slug":"a-cat-only-a-mama-could-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/5877","title":{"rendered":"A Cat Only a Mama Could Love"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>He drives me crazy.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, he\u2019s come so close to death so many times I can\u2019t even explain it.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s obnoxious.\u00a0 He\u2019s bossy.\u00a0 He whines and he gets his hair everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>He makes me itchy.<\/p>\n<p>He hisses and scratches most people who aren\u2019t me.<\/p>\n<p>He refuses to be anywhere but in this house with us.<\/p>\n<p>He chews plastic bags and plants and then pukes them back up around the house.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s insane.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Spencer by Breigh.com, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/breigh\/5330690573\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5283\/5330690573_5737f17d44_z.jpg\" alt=\"Spencer\" width=\"595\" height=\"394\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Still, when I see him curled up sleeping somewhere, or he climbs up on the back of my chair for a cuddle, I can\u2019t help but love him.<\/p>\n<p>I often fantasize what life will be like without a cat in the house, and then I feel guilty because I don\u2019t ever want to lose him.\u00a0 No matter how much he makes me want to throw him off the balcony sometimes, I\u2019ll be devastated if anything ever happens to him.\u00a0 He sure has made life interesting over the last 15 years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He drives me crazy.
