That’s apparently what has been wrong with Harley lately.   I noticed the other day when I took him out of his cage that his ears looked dry and ‘gunky’ so I went to one of my hedgehog forums to ask what to do about it.<\/p>\n

The advice I got was to give him an oatmeal bath and rub either nipple cream, vaseline or vitamin-e lotion on his ears.  Since I’m not in the habit of keeping nipple cream around the house and don’t have vaseline either, I went for the vitamin-e oil.<\/p>\n

After his bath I wrapped him in a towel to keep him warm and had a cuddle with him while I watched a movie.<\/p>\n

He laid in the towel on my chest for hours as I hung out on the sofa, watched movies and even when I fell asleep he stayed there asleep too.<\/p>\n

He looks so prickly and scary to some people but he can be so cute and cuddly.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
