MMMMM!

My plate was a mess and inside I was wishing I’d not caved under the pressure to show a lust for variety and just gotten what I knew I’d like and enjoy.

In true Breigh fashion, I blame my husband and friends for taunting me… rather than my own stupidity. I am a blame shifter.

Anyhow, the night was really enjoyable. I got to meet some of the other expat girls I’ve been chatting with online but not met yet and made a few plans for some smaller get togethers throughout the coming weeks.

Oh, and some small diet triumphs from last night:

For the first time in ages I sat in that place between the table and the wall. Which was a place I’ve always avoided for fear of it being too tight a squeeze.

I managed to stick to my guns and have no desert while surrounded by the oohing and aaahing of the chocolate brownie and cheesecake eaters around me.

Still holding steady at 28 lbs lost and trying to make the push to 30!

Last night we went out for dinner at the Dream Cafe (formerly known as the American Dream Cafe) here in Rotterdam.
