<\/a><\/p>\nNo trams, metros, scooters, rushing, doorbells ringing, car horns honking, children screaming, people smelling or sirens wailing. Just peace, tranquility, chilling, chatting, swimming, dog photographing and perhaps tree chopping.<\/p>\n
We are off to the sunny south of France to visit my in laws! We\u2019ll be staying with Xander\u2019s father and his wife in their new house, which, as you can see\u2026 a little remote. Just a wee bit isolated. Mmmm isolation\u2026 peace\u2026 quiet\u2026 Definitely not something we get a lot of here in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n
We will also be visiting Xander\u2019s mother and brother, both of whom ALSO have recently moved into new houses! It will be great to see them again as well and see the new areas they are living in. They are all so creative and handy, I can\u2019t wait to see what they have done with their new homes!<\/p>\n
I also can\u2019t wait to be up there, in the middle of that forest, where there\u2019s no people. Have I mentioned that?<\/p>\n
Although I am somewhat concerned. I\u2019m so clumsy! I always manage to fall, trip, bend wrong or do something to injure myself before or during my holidays. What if I pull of a hangnail the wrong way? I may bleed to death<\/em> before help arrives!<\/p>\n If you don\u2019t hear from me in two weeks, that means I talked them into letting me stay forever. Don\u2019t come looking for me, I don\u2019t want to be found.<\/p>\n Or, it could also mean that I got an infection from a splinter and tragically passed just before the medics were able to find my location. In that case, please come to my funeral so I can appear to be really popular, ok?
