{"id":514,"date":"2006-10-10T12:04:13","date_gmt":"2006-10-10T10:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/archives\/514"},"modified":"2006-10-10T12:05:17","modified_gmt":"2006-10-10T10:05:17","slug":"soooo-comfy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/514","title":{"rendered":"Soooo Comfy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" hspace=\"10\" src=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/blogpics\/Snug.jpg\" align=\"left\"><\/p>\n<p>Oh my god&#8230; You have not lived until you&#8217;ve slept on fleece sheets.<\/p>\n<p>Before you think (as I did) &#8220;<em>No fucking way, too warm!<\/em>&#8220;, bear with me.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>When my parents were here in May, they brought us over a set of fleece sheets.&nbsp;&nbsp; The first thing I thought was, &#8220;<em>oh gawd I&#8217;ll never sleep on those and they will take up so much space in the closet<\/em>&#8220;&#8230; but my mother made me swear to try them before knocking them.&nbsp;&nbsp; So I did.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>I first tried them just before the summer and loved them, but last night was our first fall night with them on the bed and I just had to write about it.&nbsp; It was like heaven.<\/p>\n<p>Now, you see normally I&#8217;m one of those stick a foot out the side of the bed to keep cool people.&nbsp; I hate my feet being warm and I usually love crawling into a cool bed and snuggling up to make myself a warm spot.&nbsp;&nbsp; So the idea of FLEECE sheets made me think of nothing but sweat and static. <\/p>\n<p>The idea of sleeping on a fleece covered PILLOW was even worse.&nbsp;&nbsp; I am always folding and flipping my pillows looking for cool spots and I thought there was no way in hell I&#8217;d ever find one on fleece.<\/p>\n<p>Was I ever wrong.<\/p>\n<p>I have never, in my life, been so comfortable in my bed.&nbsp;&nbsp; This morning I was in bed until 10:30am and had to force myself to get out.&nbsp; I wasn&#8217;t even asleep anymore but I was so comfortable and cocooned in my bed that I just didn&#8217;t want to get out!<\/p>\n<p>There is something about the fleece that keeps you warm, but not too warm, and it seems to keep a perfect temperature of comfort.&nbsp; Also, it&#8217;s just soooooo soft.&nbsp; It feels like you are sleeping in a cloud.<\/p>\n<p>The pillow thing wasn&#8217;t an issue at all either, because unlike cotton or flannel pillow covers&#8230; the fleece doesn&#8217;t get warm.&nbsp; It just stays a neutral temp so you don&#8217;t feel that need to go in search of a cool spot.<\/p>\n<p>I am in love with these sheets and they will stay on our bed straight through until the summer weather hits again.&nbsp;&nbsp; Thankfully, my mother told me she got us another set, because I think after an entire fall\/winter season of taking these off, washing them and putting them straight back on again there wouldn&#8217;t have been anything left of them come summer!<\/p>\n<p>They aren&#8217;t cheap, but by god they are so worth it!&nbsp; If you haven&#8217;t tried them, do so&#8230; you&#8217;ll never love your bed as much as you will with fleece sheets on it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oh my god&#8230; You have not lived until you&#8217;ve slept on fleece sheets.
