We finally finished working on Harley’s Hedgie Bachelor Pad!  <\/p>\n

Here are some photos from when we bought it, before doing anything to it.  You can see how huge it is next to our 180L turtle tank!  It’s actually meant for rabbits or guinea pigs, which is why we had to do some alterations to it. <\/p>\n

Hedgies aren’t the most hardy of creatures so the wide opening with that wooden ramp really wasn’t going to work, especially because the ramp wasn’t enclosed. If a Harley were to fall off the side of the ramp he could really<\/em> hurt himself quite badly. <\/p>\n

Xander did the DIY, making the hole in the 2nd floor smaller and putting the items I got together to make an enclosed ramp.<\/p>\n

I took care of the decorations, toys and sewing the liners, hedgie bags and edges of the ramp enclosure.<\/p>\n
