About 5 minutes ago as I was eating my fish sticks, I was listening to the wind howling outside and remembering how two years ago around this time of year I was sunburned from spending too much time in the sun. Two days from now two years ago I was laying on the beach in almost 30 degree weather.<\/p>\n
It’s 20 degrees now with grey skies, rain and wind thrown in for good measure. I shivered and as an ad on TV was telling us about the new season of American Chopper starting on September 10th, I realized how all these fall \/ early winter months in end BRRR. SeptemBRRR, OctoBRRR, NovemBRR, DecemBRR… coincidence? I don’t think so.<\/p>\n
Can you believe we had rain EVERY SINGLE<\/i> day in August? I mean what is up with that? It’s just my luck… get a car and have easy access to the beach, then it doesn’t stop raining until summer is over.<\/p>\n
Xander told me the other day that this was the wettest August in 100 years, I guess he read it somewhere. It figures though. It was the first summer that I was here and had transportation to the beach, of course it was the wettest in 100 years! :P<\/p>\n
I think I need to send Mother Nature a basket of muffins or something, clearly she hates me.<\/p>\n
