{"id":4331,"date":"2010-05-20T10:38:02","date_gmt":"2010-05-20T08:38:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/?p=4331"},"modified":"2010-05-20T10:43:55","modified_gmt":"2010-05-20T08:43:55","slug":"the-moon-at-noon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/4331","title":{"rendered":"The Moon At Noon?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Something I\u2019ve noticed, and loved, about biking is that I come across things I probably would never have seen otherwise.\u00a0 There are places just steps away from areas I\u2019ve driven a thousand times, where I see something new that I didn\u2019t even know was there.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Art\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/36166632@N00\/4609869788\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/4071\/4609869788_7610ae9fe0_b.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Art\" width=\"595\" height=\"399\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As we were biking along the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oude_Maas\" target=\"_blank\">Oude Maas<\/a> the other day I saw this and thought <em>Huh?\u00a0 Is that the moon?\u00a0 No wait, it can\u2019t be the moon it\u2019s not even lunch time, but\u2026 it looks like the moon. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>I moved in a little closer to try to figure out what it was.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Art\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/36166632@N00\/4609870980\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/1029\/4609870980_bdef76ca2f_b.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Art\" width=\"595\" height=\"384\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Ok, still looking a little like the moon but I know that\u2019s not possible, and no way am I biking my ass up that hill\u2026 I\u2019ve already been out here long enough.\u00a0 I\u2019m tired.\u00a0 Maybe if I get just a little bit closer\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Art\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/36166632@N00\/4609262633\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/3301\/4609262633_6462f66aa8_b.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Art\" width=\"595\" height=\"379\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Aah yes, I should have known.\u00a0 ART.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Art\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/36166632@N00\/4609871384\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/1271\/4609871384_b399aedb0b_b.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Art\" width=\"595\" height=\"390\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Weirdass, reflective, trick me into thinking I\u2019m seeing the moon, art.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Dutch love their art.\u00a0 This a small country with very densely populated areas, but if there is a bare spot you can be sure that they\u2019ll stick a piece of art on it. \u00a0Some of it is really cool, some of it is ugly, you never know what you are going to get.<\/p>\n<p>I did think this looked pretty cool though\u2026 and one day, when I don\u2019t already feel pretty tuckered out, I\u2019m going up there to get a closer look.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Something I\u2019ve noticed, and loved, about biking is that I come across things I probably would never have seen otherwise.\u00a0 There are places just steps away from areas I\u2019ve driven a thousand times, where I see something new that I didn\u2019t even know was there.
