Today my husband and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary.\u00a0 Like any couple we\u2019ve had our issues\u2026 my problems settling in the Netherlands, his Lego addiction, my late night mosquito rages\u2026 but one thing that has never changed is our love for each other.\u00a0 Well, MY love for HIM I should say.\u00a0\u00a0 I\u2019m not so sure about his love for me anymore.<\/p>\n

He worries me.\u00a0 Like, remember that time he scared the bejesus out of me in his sleep<\/a>? or the other time<\/a>? I wonder if that was a foreshadowing of things to come.\u00a0 I\u2019ve also always been suspicious of his death glare<\/a>\u2026 I mean, it\u2019s not normal for your husband to look at you like he wants to kill you, right?<\/p>\n

Then today I saw this:<\/p>\n

Omg, where\u2019s the dislike button?!\u00a0 I blame my dad, he is always up to no good! NO GOOD!<\/p>\n

Perhaps I should start sleeping with one eye open.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s amazing the things you see when you look back\u2026<\/p>\n

Take this old photo of us, for example.\u00a0 See me all eyes closed and in love, kissing the man of my dreams?<\/p>\n

Now, do you see him all eyes open and smirking?\u00a0 He knows something we don\u2019t.\u00a0 He\u2019s hiding something!! He has a secret plan, a plan to off me one day!<\/p>\n

What about this one from earlier this year.\u00a0 Ok at first you will look at it and see a happy couple out for dinner, smiling and enjoying each other\u2019s company\u2026 but look at his hand on that knife, and it\u2019s pointed right at me!!\u00a0 Who knows what would have happened if my friends hadn\u2019t distracted him to take this photo.\u00a0 They\u00a0 may very well have saved my life!<\/p>\n

Call me paranoid, but I think I\u2019m onto something here\u2026<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t hear from me sometime within the next few months, don\u2019t bother investigating. THE HUSBAND DID IT!<\/p>\n

Lock him up and take away his Lego.\u00a0 This is my dying wish\u2026<\/p>\n

Also see to it that he never has access to the internet, Bastogne cookies or Mona Toetjes.\u00a0 While you are at it, give him a prison roommate.\u00a0 Someone who talks a lot, preferably about sports and friends he\u2019s never met.\u00a0 Please do give him a TV though, and provide him with a steady stream of Sex and the City, romantic comedies, Reality TV and anything starring Julia Roberts.<\/p>\n

See to it that my father gets some time too, I mean he is an accessory to murder and all.\u00a0 Don\u2019t let my mother visit him either, lord knows she\u2019ll try to weasel her way into the prison every morning to make him his tea and toast.<\/p>\n

Avenge my death, people\u2026don\u2019t let them get away with this!\u00a0 I\u2019m counting on you.<\/p>\n
