Now the other <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/pets\/\">Bunker<\/a> is left all alone.   <\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/breigh\/150536688\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/56\/150536688_c409e3a8a8_m.jpg\" width=\"240\" height=\"194\" alt=\"Bunker\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I had a feeling over the past few days that one of them wasn&#8217;t well, and I mentioned it a few times but Xander told me they were fine so I didn&#8217;t press it.   I should have gone with my gut instinct and done something&#8230; cleaned the aquarium, taken him to the vet&#8230; something&#8230;. but I did nothing&#8230;  and now he&#8217;s dead.<\/p>\n<p>My heart is broken, I loved those little guys yet I know it&#8217;s my fault that he&#8217;s dead because I didn&#8217;t take good enough care of him.  <\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have the heart to leave the other Bunker alone so we&#8217;ll probably go get another baby turtle to put in with him, and I&#8217;ll make sure to pay closer attention and take better care of them.  <\/p>\n<p>How did I ever fool myself into thinking I was ready for children when I can&#8217;t even take care of my pets properly. :(<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a horrible mother&#8230; Today Xander found one of our turtles dead in the aquarium.
