You know how they say that one man\u2019s trash is another man\u2019s treasure?\u00a0 I\u2019ve been learning the validity of that statement ever since a second hand shop<\/a> moved in across the road from our house.\u00a0 Every so often I pop in there to see what\u2019s new or if anything catches my eye and more often than not something does.<\/p>\n

I keep seeing signs that I am becoming more and more Dutch.\u00a0 Whether it\u2019s a change in attitude in regards to the way they do things, learning to appreciate riding a bike or saving a few pennies, over time I\u2019ve truly become Canadutch.\u00a0 Neither purely Canadian nor purely Dutch, but an odd mixture of the two.<\/p>\n

Today I almost squealed with glee when I found this little gem.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a\u00a0 wicker suitcase.\u00a0 Looks pretty boring huh?\u00a0 Just all wicker and\u2026 wicker.\u00a0 Don\u2019t be fooled though, when you open it up it holds a surprise!<\/p>\n

A cute red gingham interior!\u00a0\u00a0 I don\u2019t think this would be entirely difficult to make if you had the suitcase, some fabric and a glue gun, but this was already made. Someone else did the work and it could be all mine for the low price of \u20ac1,50!\u00a0 How could I resist, it was BIJNA GRATIS!!\u00a0 See, there\u2019s that Dutchie in me sneaking out again, that means almost free.\u00a0 If I had clogs I\u2019d be dancing in them!<\/p>\n

The minute I laid eyes on it I knew exactly what it was meant for.\u00a0 What it\u2019s purpose in my life would be\u2026<\/p>\n

CRAFT CASE!!!<\/em><\/strong> Omgomgomg!\u00a0 How cute is this thing?<\/p>\n

As we walked home I explained excitedly to my husband how it can accompany us on all our travels, stuffed to the brim with crafty goodness, just waiting for me to crack it open and start working on something new.\u00a0 It\u2019s going to be like my very own crafting TICKLE TRUNK<\/a>!!\u00a0 If you weren\u2019t a kid in Canada somewhere between the 60\u2019s and 90\u2019s, click the link.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get excited, it\u2019s not as dirty as it sounds.<\/p>\n
