For the last few days I\u2019ve been keeping myself busy but working on a crochet project I started a while back.\u00a0 It\u2019s only the second time I\u2019ve crocheted something but I\u2019m quite enjoying working on this pattern<\/a>.\u00a0 The first time was when I made a baby blanket for Faela<\/a>, my friend\u2019s adorable baby girl who is now growing like a weed and can talk the hind leg off a donkey.<\/p>\n

I want to finish this one for someone, not that I will say who on the slight chance that they might read this.\u00a0 I have few months left before I need to finish it so it shouldn\u2019t be a problem.\u00a0 Especially considering I\u2019ve been working on it day and night just because I find it so relaxing.<\/p>\n

I can be such an idiot when it comes to crafting.\u00a0 I enjoy it so much and get endless pleasure from the finished products, yet I constantly start projects and don\u2019t finish them!\u00a0 There are huge chunks of time that pass without me working on anything at all.\u00a0 Then when the urge strikes and I spend time working on something like I have in the last few days, I wonder why I don\u2019t have something out to work on every day.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m going to make an effort to be more creative and do more crafting this year.\u00a0 First of all, I want to finish all of the partially completed projects I have tucked away.\u00a0 Starting with this one!\u00a0 At least with baby blankets you usually have a deadline.\u00a0 That helps.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
