A while ago I wrote about the best day of summer 1996<\/a>, well this is definately going down in the books as the BEST DAY OF SUMMER 2006!! w00t!!!<\/p>\n

Today Xander started with a new company and this is one of the perks:<\/p>\n

OH MY FUCKING GOD ALMIGHTY WE HAVE A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***** FAINTS ******<\/p>\n

A quick little back story for those of you who are visiting for the first time.<\/p>\n

I’m Canadian, we drive.
\nI moved to the Netherlands, they bike.
\nThat sucked.
\nFor a whole 7 years.
\n7 years of screaming about fucking busses, fucking trains and goddamn fucking trams… it’s over… it’s all over. We have a car!
\nNo more getting groceries and carrying them on our backs.
\nNo more paying extra to have groceries delivered so we don’t HAVE to take them on our backs.
\nWe have a car… My days of no car bitching are over.<\/p>\n

Yes I’ll still have to ride the fucking busses, fucking trains and goddamn fucking trams… but not all the time, and I’m ok with that!<\/p>\n

It’s a 2006 Renault Clio and it’s so nice! It’s only ours for 2 months, which is Xander’s trial period with the new company. Once the trial period is over we choose a car to lease and get that from the company. This certainly<\/em> will do in the meantime!<\/p>\n

Oh, and it has air conditioning. I love it so much I think I’m going to sneak out after everyone is asleep and hump it… just a little.<\/p>\n
