Yesterday I returned the Creative Camera and got the Logitech Camera back with a powered USB hub. The camera didn’t work. I spent most of the afternoon on the phone with the people from Logitech (Who were as useless<\/strong> as tits on a bull!) and with the makers of this laptop (Who were great<\/strong>!!) yet we came to no solution. Apparently these Logitech quickcams don’t work well with a VIA chipset, which is what I have. Why it doesn’t say this on the box, on their website or anywhere else, I’ll never know. In any case, no amount of downloaded drivers, patches or re-installs has fixed it. So, I think I give up. I’m going to return the webcam and hub and look for something else. Maybe I’ll put the money towards new winter shoes for school, or a new jacket. Chances are it will go towards something geeky instead though, like a DVD burner. Oh well, at least I’m consistant!

These are some pictures I took this morning when I was outside for a walk. Don’t you just love the Fall? (Or do you call it Autumn?) Either way this is my favorite season of all. I don’t know if it’s because of the colors or that feeling in the air that tells you that those cold winter nights curled up under a blanket are not far off. Maybe it’s that hint of excitement when you see the stores starting to get in their Christmas stock. I don’t know what it is but something about this season fills me with such a thrill, and I love it! I have this excitement inside me and I don’t know where it comes from but I know I don’t want it to go away.<\/p>\n

Maybe it’s because it makes me think of my childhood. Back to those years when I was just back to school for another year, seeing old friends and huddling up at the bus stop. I feel like I should be out shopping for new school clothes and a pencil case. Whatever it is, I love it and I love the way it makes me feel. I love that unknown thrill I get when I walk out into the crisp air, surrounded by colors of red and gold on the trees and the fallen leaves blowing around my feet.<\/p>\n

I remember this time of year when I was a kid. Getting those last few weeks in on my bicycle before I had to put it away for the winter. Digging out those comfy knitted sweaters and scarves.. The nights not lasting quite as long when I was out playing with my friends after dinner. Jumping in the piles of leaves in the yard after our parents raked them up. Just makes me want to be a kid again..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
