Well, last week I bought two postcards to send to my friend Karl.  The other night in bed I wrote them and put his name and my return address on them, but didn&#8217;t have his address handy so I thought I&#8217;d put it on in the morning.  The next day I got up, chatted a while on IRC then took the dog for a walk and went by the post box and dropped them in.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday they came back to me. I forgot to put the damn address on!  Now, usually I&#8217;ll buy cards\/postcards and they never even get sent.  I was so chuffed with myself that I actually remembered to send these ones.  If you think I&#8217;m kidding, look on the shelf under my coffee table. There is a box of Christmas cards under there, half of them filled out and half empty.  I bought them in 2002 and every year I think, well they are still good it&#8217;s not like I put a date on them.  I&#8217;ll send them this year!  Never do.<\/p>\n<p>So, will Karl ever get his postcards? Who knows.  I have to buy more stamps and put them in an envelope because the stupid post people already stamped over the one I have on there and&#8230; man, I mean don&#8217;t they know who Karl Barrus is?! Couldn&#8217;t they just have sent it? Good grief, lazy bastards.<\/p>\n<p>Going to the beach today!
