{"id":3254,"date":"2010-02-01T22:00:45","date_gmt":"2010-02-01T20:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/?p=3254"},"modified":"2010-02-01T22:07:28","modified_gmt":"2010-02-01T20:07:28","slug":"sometimes-i-really-love-rotterdam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/3254","title":{"rendered":"Sometimes I Really Love Rotterdam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Schouwbergplein.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline;\" title=\"Schouwbergplein\" src=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Schouwbergplein_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"Schouwbergplein\" width=\"595\" height=\"389\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last night on our way to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/archives\/3243\" target=\"_blank\">Film Festival<\/a> I had to stop and just look at this for a moment.\u00a0 It\u2019s the square at Schouwburgplein in Rotterdam.\u00a0 The photo doesn\u2019t do it justice, but there were so many twinkling lights and on a cold winter night it looked really beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>The red things that look like cranes actually have big spotlights on the end, and you can control them using a panel in the middle at the bottom.<\/p>\n<p>For all the times I get frustrated living here or think of how much I\u2019d love to move out of the city, there are times like this where I see something and sigh happily.\u00a0 I am so lucky to be able to see places like this.\u00a0 Places I never dreamed I\u2019d ever be as a young girl in a small town in eastern Canada.\u00a0 Sometimes I really do love Rotterdam with my whole heart.\u00a0 This was one of those moments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night on our way to the Film Festival I had to stop and just look at this for a moment.\u00a0 It\u2019s the square at Schouwburgplein in Rotterdam.\u00a0 The photo doesn\u2019t do it justice, but there were so many twinkling lights and on a cold winter night it looked really beautiful.
