So I thought I&#8217;d share it as well.<\/p>\n<p>It was written by Casey Sheehan&#8217;s younger sister Carley after his death in Bagdad on April 4th, 2004<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever heard the sound of a mother screaming for her son?<br \/>\nThe torrential rains of a mother&#8217;s weeping will never be done<br \/>\nThey call him a hero, you should be glad that he&#8217;s one, but<br \/>\nHave you ever heard the sound of a mother screaming for her son?<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever heard the sound of a father holding back his cries?<br \/>\nHe must be brave because his boy died for another man&#8217;s lies<br \/>\nThe only grief he allows himself are long, deep sighs<br \/>\nHave you ever heard the sound of a father holding back his cries?<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever heard the sound of taps played at your brother&#8217;s grave?<br \/>\nThey say that he died so that the flag will continue to wave<br \/>\nBut I believe he died because they had oil to save<br \/>\nHave you ever heard the sound of taps played at your brother&#8217;s grave?<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever heard the sound of a nation being rocked to sleep?<br \/>\nThe leaders want to keep you numb so the pain won&#8217;t be so deep<br \/>\nBut if we the people let them continue another mother will weep<br \/>\nHave you ever heard the sound of a nation being rocked to sleep?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow this is the first time I&#8217;ve done the double entry thing (Wow did that ever sound naughty!!)
