This photo of me and my \u00a0husband was taken almost 9 years ago in Paris.\u00a0 We felt so grown up but look at us, we were babies!\u00a0 I’d just turned 25 the week before and I was a wife! \u00a0\u00a0We were so cute though, still in that stage where we called each other Mr. and Mrs. and giggled every time we said husband or wife.<\/p>\n

I loved Xander so much back then and I really believed that it was impossible for me to love him any more than I did at that moment.\u00a0 We were newlyweds for petes sake, and that\u2019s how they all feel I suppose\u2026 but I had no idea how much my feelings for him would grow over the years.<\/p>\n

I am so proud to be his wife.\u00a0\u00a0 He is funny, smart, thoughtful, kind and I know that in spite of my many many flaws, he loves me too.\u00a0 I know that because he shows it in a million little ways every day.\u00a0 He makes me feel loved and even when I am being a complete moron he understands me and helps me figure out where I went wrong.\u00a0 He helps me be a better person and I love him for that.<\/p>\n

Moving to the Netherlands, leaving everything else I knew and loved behind and fighting to make a new life for myself has not been an easy task, and if he were any other man on earth I\u2019m not sure it would be worth it.\u00a0 HE is worth it though and I\u2019d do it all over again if I had to, because no matter how many times I\u2019ve imagined how great life could be back in Canada I know that without him, it just wouldn\u2019t be the same.<\/p>\n

Plus, he makes a mean Peach Chicken and is making it for me as we speak.\u00a0 Yes, I know\u2026 all that AND he can cook too!\u00a0 I think I\u2019ll keep him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
