{"id":2193,"date":"2009-05-07T08:09:17","date_gmt":"2009-05-07T06:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/?p=2193"},"modified":"2010-06-01T00:02:04","modified_gmt":"2010-05-31T22:02:04","slug":"phalanges-%e2%80%a6-dancing-phalanges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/2193","title":{"rendered":"Phalanges \u2026 Dancing Phalanges!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"344\" data=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/0M2t77CV61A&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/0M2t77CV61A&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Bones is one of my favorite shows, and in the latest episode Dr. Brennan gets a bit of baby fever.\u00a0 Watching her try to be maternal and relate to babies is hilarious.\u00a0\u00a0 Even more hilarious than than when she tries to relate to adult humans.<\/p>\n<p>The whole <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/archives\/category\/randoms\/project-baby\" target=\"_blank\">baby fever thing<\/a> is something I can totally understand, as my husband and I tried for years to start a family and gave up a while back.\u00a0\u00a0 From time to time when I see my friends with their children, I feel like we are really missing out on something and start to question our decision not to continue trying.\u00a0\u00a0 Other times, when I am out doing things that my mommy-friends don\u2019t have the freedom to do, I feel the exact opposite.\u00a0 Almost glad that it never happened, because I enjoy being able to come and go as I please.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s confusing.\u00a0 I sort of feel like time is running out and I need to make a decision, especially with my 34th birthday tomorrow.\u00a0\u00a0 Each year goes by faster than the one before it.\u00a0\u00a0 I know some of my friends think I\u2019m anti-baby or that my general dislike of crowds of children would make me a bad mom, and maybe they are right, I don\u2019t know.\u00a0\u00a0 I have even been told to never have children by a friend, which didn\u2019t feel so great.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I think, and hope, that maybe I\u2019d feel differently once I had one of my own.\u00a0 Just because I don\u2019t enjoy being around groups of other people\u2019s children doesn\u2019t mean I shouldn\u2019t have or don\u2019t deserve a child of my own, does it?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps one day we\u2019ll try again, who knows.\u00a0\u00a0 What I do know is that Dancing Phalanges is now totally going to be a part of my baby repertoire!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bones is one of my favorite shows, and in the latest episode Dr. Brennan gets a bit of baby fever.\u00a0 Watching her try to be maternal and relate to babies is hilarious.\u00a0\u00a0 Even more hilarious than than when she tries to relate to adult humans.
