I joined a great guild of mainly south africans and we have had a TON of laughs and good times, but like any game I’m starting to feel quite “meh” about it. So yesterday I downloaded the free trial for Everquest II (EQ2) and decided to give it a go. This is my temporary character (Breigh) for the 7 day trial.

I still need to play it for a while to know if I really like it though. At the moment the newness alone is enough to win me over from the monotony of raiding in WoW.
Today I had yet another appointment at the hospital for the end of my folikelmeting. I had another ultrasound and more bloodwork but really have no more insight into what is going on with me fertility-wise. I have an appointment with my fertility specialist on June 16th though, so maybe I will learn more then.

I’ve lost 2 lbs in the past week but not through any serious effort. I’ve just tried to be a little more active in hopes of gradually creating a lifestyle change. I have shitall willpower and I know that if I go too drastic all at once it will make me nutty. I figure 1-2 lbs a week over the period of a year should make a big difference… slow and steady!

Went to see The Da Vinci Code this past weekend. I now get what a friend of mine meant when he said Tom Hanks wasn’t very “Tom Hanksy” in this movie… but shit, does he look great with the longer hair! Getting sidetracked… The movie was -OK- at best. There were about three spots towards the end of the movie that I thought it was over, but then wasn’t. I read the book and loved it, and maybe that’s part of why the movie disappointed / bored me, but in any case… it did. If you haven’t gone to the theater to see it yet, don’t. It’s a renter. Better yet, read the book! That’s the only true way to get the Da Vinci Code experience!

I want to see Poseidon but have been advised that like the Da Vinci Code, it’s one you’re better off downloading or renting. Has anyone seen it that truly enjoyed it and thinks it is better viewed in the theater? If not I’m going to download it.

What is it with all these movies lately? Da Vinci Code, X-Men 3, and now possibly Poseidon… so much hype and so disappointing. Bleh.

EQ2 Breigh Originally uploaded by Breigh.com.
