I\u2019ve been reading the most fantastic series of books lately, and I\u2019ve pretty much forced all my close friends and family to start reading them as well.\u00a0\u00a0 It\u2019s the Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 They are about a girl who loses her job as a lingerie buyer and ends up blackmailing her sleezeball cousin into giving her a job as a bounty hunter.\u00a0\u00a0 There are so many funny bits that make these books as great as they are, so many characters that add their own interesting bits to the story.\u00a0 When I\u2019m reading I always try to figure out who I imagine the characters as, or who I imagine would play them if there was to be a movie.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure there WILL be a movie someday, books this popular don\u2019t go without becoming a movie at some point.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what I was thinking.<\/p>\n

\"sandra\"<\/a>Sandra Bullock<\/strong> as Stephanie Plum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I think it\u2019s her role in the Miss Congeniality movies that make me see her in this role too.\u00a0\u00a0 I CAN imagine her dodging dinner with her parents, keeping her gun in her cookie jar and having a hamster as a best friend.\u00a0 Can\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

She\u2019s just hot enough, but also just clumsy and endearing enough to bring Stephanie to life.<\/p>\n

\"latifah\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Queen Latifah<\/strong> as Lula<\/strong>.
\nWhen I think of a \u2018big boned\u2019 black woman with major attitude, who can kick some major ass, there is only one woman who comes to mind.<\/p>\n

QUEEN LATIFAH!<\/p>\n

I can see her breaking down doors and threatening to shoot people.<\/p>\n

\"jdm\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Jeffrey Dean Morgan<\/strong> as Joe Morelli<\/strong>.
\nYummmmm.\u00a0 If I have to imagine a rough around the edges, steal your virginity as a teenager kind of guy, it\u2019s this one.\u00a0 I can\u2019t think of anyone more perfect for the role of Joe than \u201cDenny\u201d.\u00a0 He can be hot when he needs to be hot, but he can be sweet and even a bit adorable at times.<\/p>\n

Plus, can\u2019t you see him and Sandra Bullock together as a movie item?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"rock\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Dwayne \u2018The Rock\u2019 Johnson<\/strong> as Ranger
\n<\/strong>Ranger\u2026 ooooooh Ranger.\u00a0 Could there possibly be a sexier fictional character than Ranger??<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to cast this character because he has to be big, lean, sexy, caring but scary and mean a the same time.\u00a0\u00a0 Having seen The Rock playing a gay guy in a previous movie I wavered on this one\u2026 but in the end, I think he\u2019s our guy.\u00a0 Yum.<\/p>\n

\"mazur\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ellen Albertini<\/strong> Dow<\/strong> as Grandma Mazur
\n<\/strong>Grandma Mazur is one of those old ladies who just doesn\u2019t grow old.\u00a0 She may spend all her spare time at viewings (wakes) but in her mind she\u2019s still 19 years old and on the go!<\/p>\n

I have never thought of Grandma Mazur without seeing the Rapping Granny from the Wedding Singer in my head.\u00a0\u00a0 She also played that drug toting old lady on Studio 64.\u00a0\u00a0 Perfect!<\/p>\n

\"mewes\"<\/p>\n

Jason Mewes<\/strong> as Mooner
\n<\/strong>Sort of like with Ellen Albertini Dow automatically making me think of the crazy Grandma Mazur, Jason Mewes (or Jay from the Jay and Silent Bob movies) has always been in my mind when Mooner was in the story.<\/p>\n

Stoner = Jason Mewes = Mooner.\u00a0 It\u2019s just the way it is!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are a lot of supporting characters as well, like Stephanie\u2019s parents and sister, her cousin Vinnie and a wide range of cops, but the above characters are the ones I hold most dear and make true mental images of in my mind.<\/p>\n

Now, here\u2019s hoping they actually make a movie of it someday.\u00a0 I\u2019d be curious to see if any of my picks make it in!<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t read this series yet, I seriously suggest you do.\u00a0\u00a0 I am on the 9th book now and they just keep getting better and better!<\/p>\n

A warning though, make sure you get two because I guarantee when you finish the first one you\u2019ll be dying to start the second!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
