FINALLY! My BlueSand Cardigan<\/a>\u00a0finished! Well, it’s been finished for a while but I’ve been so busy wearing it and loving it that I haven’t gotten around to writing about it! Please ignore the state of me in the photo. I’m dreadfully anemic at the moment and had just had a very long day at Scheepjes for our blogger’s day. I was barely able to keep my eyes open, but I was super happy! So, let’s concentrate more on the awesome cardigan and less on the walking zombie wearing it, ok? haha<\/p>\n Here’s another photo from blogger’s day, taken by Sarah from\u00a0Crafts from the Cwtch<\/a>\u00a0of me and Dedri from\u00a0Look at What I Made<\/a>. We just happened to match that day!<\/p>\n This was such a beautiful project. I loved every single minute that I was making this and I had a feeling that\u00a0it was going to work out just right. There was a gap in the middle where I had to put it aside to work on other things, but the minute I picked it back up again, I was hooked. I just knew that this was going to be\u00a0the<\/em> project that was going to work out perfectly in every way, that I’d wear without feeling a nagging thought of something I could have or should have done differently. I had a beautiful pattern with the perfect yarn and it was all systems go. Aggh! I love it so much!!<\/p>\n There are so many little touches on this cardigan that I really appreciate.<\/p>\n The waffle stitch on the sleeves in the contrasting colour, to match the waffle stitch along the bottom of the cardigan.<\/p>\n The striped detail on the inside of the pockets. Such a nice touch! \u00a0Oh and can I also say, look at this photo, this yarn is just so, so nice. Beautiful stitch definition and that soft fuzz, it’s like being wrapped up in a colourful cotton ball.<\/p>\n The hint of colour between the body and the edge. Again, just a small touch that adds something really eye catching and interesting to the garment. The Lemon Quartz colour stands out so beautifully against the darker colours. Crazy about it.<\/p>\n I’m just over the moon with his cardigan. I already have the feeling that I’m going to wear this to death and am considering another using the new\u00a0Scheepjes Merino Soft<\/a>\u00a0yarn. \u00a0First, though, I plan on doing another cardigan by this designer using a cashmere yarn I have in my stash. Oh my word, I just can’t even… I’ll write more about that another time.<\/p>\n Susan Lucci<\/a>\u00a0had this crazy idea that it looks better on her, but she can suck it. Her days of wearing it are over!
