Stone Washed Cardigan (WIP)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Time for an update on my BlueSand Cardigan! \u00a0I have been going great guns on this pattern and just as I suspected in my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/wordpress\/archives\/15074\" target=\"_blank\">earlier post<\/a>, the yoke \/ shoulder shaping was the most difficult part. \u00a0Well, so far at least!<\/p>\n<p>After separating the sleeves, it was all quite simple once I got going, with a lot of it just straight knitting with some increases and short rows as I got to the bottom. \u00a0Having knitted so many <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/wordpress\/archives\/tag\/dreambird\" target=\"_blank\">Dreambirds<\/a> lately,\u00a0\u00a0I am a total pro at short rows by now!<\/p>\n<p>The colors worked out exactly the way I imagined and they look great!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/stonewashedcardi101.jpg\"><img href=\"http:\/\/www.scheepjeswol.com\/nl\/collectie\/katoen\/stone-washed-28623\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stone Washed<\/a> yarn is perfect, it&#8217;s just so darn perfect for this project I could squeal. \u00a0As I mentioned before, I very nearly chose another yarn for this which felt nice but didn&#8217;t quite have the colors I wanted, so I almost did it in navy, light blue and pink. \u00a0I&#8217;m glad I held out in the end and waited for that perfect combination, because I&#8217;m so in love with this.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter factor? \u00a0 I really think they should make squoosh a proper knitting term, because don&#8217;t we all look for it at the end of the day?<\/p>\n<p>Anyway&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a
