{"id":1480,"date":"2008-08-21T22:44:31","date_gmt":"2008-08-21T20:44:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/?p=1480"},"modified":"2010-05-30T22:38:49","modified_gmt":"2010-05-30T20:38:49","slug":"a-day-in-roosendaal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/1480","title":{"rendered":"A Day in Roosendaal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Roosendaal Shopping\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/36166632@N00\/2784223751\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Roosendaal Shopping\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/3222\/2784223751_fb36161062.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today I went to visit my friend <a href=\"http:\/\/pennyinholland.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Penny<\/a> in Roosendaal.&#160; She showed me around the city center of Roosendaal, including this really beautiful shopping area that serves as a walkway between one side of the city center and the other.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Roosendaal Shopping\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/36166632@N00\/2785076234\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Roosendaal Shopping\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/3043\/2785076234_db68aa5e96.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been renovated recently and it just looks so nice!&#160; I have no idea how it looked before but it\u2019s so colorful and nice now.&#160;&#160; One of the best parts is the huge domed skylight in the middle.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Roosendaal Shopping\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/36166632@N00\/2784224113\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"326\" alt=\"Roosendaal Shopping\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/3211\/2784224113_cae9f9917f.jpg\" width=\"450\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We went shopping at her local craft store which was great.&#160; There was a lot more cross stitch stuff there than in any of the shops I\u2019ve been to here in Rotterdam.&#160; I bought a little book of Christmas cross stitch patterns.&#160; I can\u2019t wait to get started on them.&#160; God it\u2019s only August and I\u2019m already looking forward to Christmas!<\/p>\n<p>When we were done with that we went back to her place where I ooh\u2019d and aaah\u2019d over her son Noah.&#160; He\u2019s four months old now and his cuteness factor is increasing steadily.&#160; It\u2019s almost out of control!&#160;&#160; Check out this little dude!<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Baby Noah\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/36166632@N00\/2784189421\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Baby Noah\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/3083\/2784189421_07b7b963bd.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Look at that face!&#160; If you think that\u2019s cute, you\u2019d die when he smiles at you.&#160; He\u2019s won me over for sure, 100%.&#160;&#160; I see a thumb sucker in the making!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I went to visit my friend Penny in Roosendaal.&#160; She showed me around the city center of Roosendaal, including this really beautiful shopping area that serves as a walkway between one side of the city center and the other.
