{"id":1357,"date":"2008-08-18T22:05:43","date_gmt":"2008-08-18T20:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/archives\/1357"},"modified":"2010-05-30T23:50:23","modified_gmt":"2010-05-30T21:50:23","slug":"36-years-together","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadutch.nl\/blog\/archives\/1357","title":{"rendered":"36 Years Together"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/momdadwed3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"momdadwed\" src=\"http:\/\/www.breigh.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/momdadwed-thumb3.jpg\" alt=\"momdadwed\" width=\"205\" height=\"351\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today two of my favorite people in the world are celebrating their 36th wedding anniversary\u2026 my parents!<\/p>\n<p>This photo was taken three years before I was born when my parents were almost 10 years younger than I am now.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I envy them because of all the people I know I\u2019m one of the few who\u2019s parents are still together.\u00a0\u00a0 Like mine, their marriage has not always been perfect but they stuck together and conquered everything that came their way.<\/p>\n<p>I love them both more than I could ever explain here and<\/p>\n<p>wish so much that I could be there with them today to celebrate.\u00a0\u00a0 I will have to take comfort in the fact that I will see them in less than 2 months!<\/p>\n<p>I think no matter what age you are it\u2019s always difficult to imagine your parents when they were younger.\u00a0 I remember my father when he was 40, but I can\u2019t imagine what he would have been like when he was 17.\u00a0\u00a0 I remember mother when she was 35, but I can\u2019t imagine what she was like at 25 when she was a new mother.<\/p>\n<p>I think if I could ever have a super power it would be time travel\u2026 and I\u2019d go back in time to meet my parents before they knew me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today two of my favorite people in the world are celebrating their 36th wedding anniversary\u2026 my parents!
