First Polish in Four Months! Zoya Apple

I’m baaaack! After a terrible stretch of time with a really annoying rash on two of my fingers (that I still have no idea what it was, by the way!) and then a few stressful months leading up to my recent surgery, this is the first time I’ve painted my nails in over FOUR MONTHS!!

I’d gone far too long and I was really starting to miss messing around with my nails, so I went to my ‘untried’ drawer and grabbed a random polish.  Turned out it was Zoya Apple!  This was a nice polish but it didn’t thrill me right down to my toes.  I’ll definitely use it again and it’s a great green color to use in the future for things like Christmas manis (so sad I didn’t get around to that this year).   I must say though, it went on very smoothly and I like that a lot!  I can see why people are such big fans of Zoya (this was my first, popping my Zoya cherry!)

My nails were totally wonky lengths and shapes but I didn’t really care, I just did a quick painting job and then grabbed the camera. In hindsight I should have gotten out the moisturizer first too!  We were going through a really big cold snap and my skin was so dry, regardless of what I did with it.

Anyway, it feels good to be ‘back in action’!
