Paa’s Monday Nail Art Challenge – Blue

Project 365 (Day 201) Essie Smooth Sailing

The PAA Monday Nail Art Challenge for this week was Blue, and I did actually have these done before Monday but I wasn’t feeling up to taking pics.  Thankfully the mani has held up quite well so I was still able to get some today, even if there is a fair bit of regrowth there.  You can ignore it.  The polish is Smooth Sailing which I got in a recent swap that I will be posting about soon!  It’s a lovely polish, I can see why everyone likes Essie so much.  I’m actually quite shocked that it looks this good after so many days.  A mani that is this chip free after 4-5 days is definitely a keeper in my books!

I’ve not been posting a lot lately because I’ve been totally bummed about what is going on with my fingers.  I have a really irritating rash on my index finger of the hand in the photo (which I mostly photoshopped out to save you all the horror of seeing how crackly it is), it’s also on my thumb on the other hand.  It’s really weird because I had the exact same thing on the exact same fingers at this time last year.  My doctor has tried a lot of different creams but nothing seems to work.  Like last year all I can do is wait for it to go away…

This makes it difficult to do my nails as much as I’d like as the remover really irritates the rash and makes it a lot worse.  So I’ve been avoiding all things glitter and the like, as they are far too difficult and take too much time with the remover.  It’s plain manis for me for the next while… that makes me sad because you know how much I love my glitter.

Oh well, I will just have to be creative and come up with other things to post about!
