My Gastric Bypass: 7 Month Photo Update

So it’s been 7 months now since my surgery and I am still as happy as can be!

It has been a long day today and the next few days will be equally busy. I’m totally tired out… but, I knew if I didn’t do this update now that it wouldn’t get done for quite a while.

I’m not going to do the usual writeup, because to be totally honest, nothing has really changed since I last wrote.  I think I’m reaching that point where it all just becomes life.   Everything isn’t new anymore and now it is just about getting on with life and trying to keep going with the positive changes I’ve been trying to make.

I do have one bit of good news though, my hair loss seems to have stopped and I have finally turned the corner.  When I was my hairdresser last week she told me that she was seeing signs of regrowth even.  Yesssss, I am so glad to be beyond that stage. I really hope that I get enough regrowth to bring me back to a really comfortable level with my hair.

Ok, well the mental bits, physical bits, and all that really is the same now as it was last month, so if you haven’t read that already you can. Let’s move on to the photos.

OK, sorry to keep it so short but it’s almost time for bed here.  Time to truck on and see where my 8 month point takes me!

  3. Hey Breigh, where are you? It’s been over a month since you last posted…

  4. Wow. There is some talk about gastric bypass in the news here these days… something like only 3 percent of the people who would benefit are actually able to get it in Canada. (My stat might be a bit off but it is a ridiculously low number.)

You are a living advertisement for what a difference it can make in health and well-being. You keep inspiring me to take care of myself and my health (and my Cobb).

  5. you are an inspiration to us all…well done

  6. I am really hoping that you will at some point share all the recipes you’ve tried and liked, as well as where you have found some of the lesser-known health foods here in the Netherlands. Congrats on your 7-month progress! You look happy.

  7. I’m no mathematician or anything… but it would seem you are half the person you used to be! Congrats!
