The Uncookies

Ok my new kitchen obviously didn’t come with cooking skill involved in the purchase price.  A while back my friend Penny was telling me about these no bake cookies she makes that are supposed to end up like this.  No baking sounded good to me because it greatly reduced the chances of me ruining them.

Clearly this recipe was no match for me though.  I had high hopes as I was making them because it looked JUST like in the pics, err except they just never hardened.  They stayed like these mushy brown blobs…

Too much or not enough of something, who knows… the slop tasted pretty good if you picked it up but it just wasn’t the same.   I used the last of the sugar too, I totally should have made banana loaf instead.  I’ve actually had success with that in the past!

Stupid new no-skill kitchen – I want my money back! :P

  1. I don’t know what I did but I think you’re right… too much butter. Either that or not enough sugar.
I know I shouldn’t have tried to fly on my own but dammit woman you went and left me! :P

Maybe it’s a sign that I can’t bake, that I don’t need to be eating all that fattening stuff to begin with!

  2. WHAT happened??!?!?! You wait until I leave the country to try and bake cookies, dear god what were you thinking? I will teach you when I return. Sounds like you got too much butter or something, I don’t know, did you use American PB? The texture is different than the Dutch stuff…

I swear they are good cookies :)
