This week I took a stab at making a sort of double decker type rat hammock and it came out pretty well, the girls seem to really like it!
When I got up yesterday they were sleeping with their little heads sticking out, so I couldn’t resist the urge to get a few photos. Of course, they woke up as I got near, but they still looked cute as heck.

I have Russian Dwarf Hamsters. They like to live in pairs. I have two sisters.

You know, I’m feeling like such an incredible ditz at the moment. A couple of months ago when you were talking about making a christmas tree skirt, I thought…well, I thought you were quilting a skirt for yourself that had christmas trees on it! I couldn’t figure out what that was going to look like, but I’m so behind with fashion I figured it was something very ‘in’ over there. Aaarrrgggh! *buries head in sand*
What a complete idiot I am! Anyway, that aside, I love the skirt. How very clever of you to do that on your own.

I have to admit, that is a first in my experience.
