Noah’s First Birthday

Noah's Birthday Party

Saturday we went to Roosendaal for Noah’s first Birthday.   It’s hard to believe he’s a year old already.  I am shocked by it, so I can only imagine how much Penny and Yuri must be wishing they could stop time.  Every time I see him he’s changed so much and is doing so many new things.  I almost fell over when I saw him walking around this weekend.

Noah's Birthday Party

It was such a nice party and we got a chance to meet some of their other friends from their hometown.  I could see why Penny always speaks so highly of them, they were so friendly and funny.

There weren’t many kids there so we were able to all chat without the screaming interruptions.   That makes it a lot easier when you are the odd man out, so to speak.  It’s hard to get to know people when they are all talking amongst themselves and chasing after their children.

Overall, I tend to hate parties because I’ve become so socially awkward over the years, but this little birthday soiree showed that there may be hope for me yet!
